First Project

This was my first project when I had just started my new job with Timber Valley. The company does not exist anymore, but the cabinetry still does, as I have seen it in pictures from when the house had been re-listed on the market twice in the past ten years.The entertainment unit was massive and heavy. It was completely constructed of MDF (medium-density fiberboard) with some solid wood bracing and moldings. It was built in five separate units then disassembled, painted and shipped to it's location in the Mason area. The five units consisted of a base platform, two book-cases, a center audio unit that concealed a projector style floor unit large screen television, and a crown box that rests on the entire span of the unit to bring it all together.This project took me the better part of a month to complete, as I had no formal training prior to building it. I thoroughly enjoyed building this unit and hope that who ever lives in the home where it is, enjoys it as well.

Creation Cabinetry & Construction was established ten years ago as a part-time venture for me. I am now doing business at a full time capacity. I am passionate about woodworking. I love to create things and watch them come to life. One of my favorite things about being an architectural designer and a finish carpenter, is providing a service for a client that will make their visions become a reality. Design is the first part of any great creation, and with an Associates of Applied Science degree in Architectural Engineering, I have the knowledge to provide a complete detailed plan to begin any project. And with more than twenty years in the construction field, I have the skills to complete the project as well. I am the sole proprietor of Creation Cabinetry & Construction, and I perform most of the work myself. This allows me to focus 100% of my attention to provide the highest standard of quality. I do subcontract licensed plumbers, electricians and drywall finishers that require their services. Professional design and estimates are free of charge. Estimates are based on time and materials for requested work, and are subject to change. Mileage fees are charged for any distances traveled beyond 15 miles of the business central location.
